Clergy Thoughts: “This weekend, you will see the Clergy vested in a Pink set of Vestments --It is a visual reminder that: " The desert shall rejoice, and blossom like the crocus ", and further into the Readings — " Establish your hearts , for the coming of The Lord is at hand". And so, it is the weekend that we are reminded that our true and very faith is so close to celebrating Our Lord's Birth " Every Blessing; Rev Dcn David Croucher

Dates for your 2026 diary. The Social Planning Group met recently and continues to work hard to provide a good mix of social activities for the parish. Recent events raised £412 from the Macmillan Coffee Morning, £200 at the Strawberry Afternoon Tea, £700 at the Parish Barbecue and £150 at the Fun Quiz in October.
Next year we have planned for a Film Afternoon on 8 Feb, Bingo and Jacket Potato Supper on 7 March, Strawberry Afternoon Tea on 28 June and a Harvest Festival Service on 20 Sept. More events are likely, and further details will be available in the New Year. Very many thanks go to all helpers, organisers and supporters of these activities, without whom these social and fund-raising events would not happen.
Newsletter- information received before noon on Wednesdays will be included in the next weekend’s newsletter (provided there is space available and/or posted to the Parish Website. Information and notices should be sent to office@holytrini-tydiss.com.
