Clergy Thoughts: We gather today to rejoice as we celebrate the Jubilee of 50-year-old diocese, in our Parish of Holy Trinity, in our Church of St Henry Morse. Our community has been for many a place, that gave meaning to much of that search for the past half century and beyond, as a church. In the urgency and the bustle of our day, we need time to pause, time to reflect. This Church so beautifully maintained by all of you is such a place to pause, to rest by the wayside on our pilgrim path to God. For that reason, our coming together in faith as a parish on this happy day, to cherish how God has brought us. Let us rejoice and celebrate and savour memories and look to the future with hope and with great faith. Amen!  Fr Alex

No Mass or Exposition on Friday 2^nd October. Team attending Safeguarding Course in Newmarket from 9:30am - 4pm.

CAFOD Family Fast Day is on Friday 2^nd October. Please give your support to help children in communities facing severe food and water shortages to stay in education and develop their God-given talents. Children like 12-year-old Talya, who would often arrive at school hungry and tired after fetching water for her family. Local Caritas partners helped her school in northern Zimbabwe build a solar-powered water system, and now there is safe water for drinking and growing vegetables

Sunday 18^th October.  Macmillan Coffee Morning following the 10 am Mass. This has been a very successful event in recent years with over £400 raised at St Henry Morse in 2025. As part of the coffee morning, we will have a tombola which has previously been very popular. But this relies on plenty of prizes... So, in the next two weeks please bring along suitable prizes for the tombola and leave them in the marked box in the community room. Many thanks.
