Parish News

A warm welcome to everyone. Tea and coffee are served after the 10.00am Mass on Sundays and the 09.30 Mass on Wednesdays; all are invited to join us. Father Alex offers a warm welcome to anyone who is visiting the parish this week.

Clergy Thoughts: Today is the sixth Sunday of Easter. As we are in the advent of Pentecost, Jesus promises us the Holy Spirit, the Advocate in today’s liturgy.  Mother Church calls us to celebrate the Spirit of truth, which strengthens us in the proclamation of the good news.  However, the Lord gives a condition for receiving the Advocate: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” Go into the whole world and preach the good news to all creation. It is also a command to love both God and our neighbour.  May we be witnesses of our faith in today's world, as we pray: Come, O Holy Spirit, and renew the face of the earth, alleluia. Amen! Fr Alex

May is the month of Mary and. Rosary Month: In this month of May, there will be the recitation of the Holy Rosary 15-20min before Mass. Anyone can lead. Wednesday (Glorious Mystery), Friday (Sorrowful Mystery), Saturday (Joyful Mystery), Sunday (Glorious or any Mystery).
