Parish News

A warm welcome to everyone. Tea and coffee are served after the 10.00am Mass on Sundays and the 09.30 Mass on Wednesdays; all are invited to join us. Father Alex offers a warm welcome to anyone who is visiting the parish this week.

Clergy Thoughts: Today we are celebrating all those who have been purified, who learned how to love and forgive, and so entered heaven and who now enjoy the happiness and blessedness of the beatitudes we heard in the Gospel (Matt 5:1-2). All the saints, not just canonized saints, but all those who enjoy the happiness of heaven, whether canonized or not, and we hope that our loved ones, relations, and friends are among the saints of heaven, as the first reading (Rev 7) of John’s vision of heaven. During November we pray especially for those who are still being purified in purgatory because we believe that our prayers can help them. May their souls and al the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen!  Fr Alex

ANIMA CHRISTI – Please check the first page of the Hymn Book for the prayer.
